History:
Eric is the son of a noble from the House of Kaitos, his mother and father have always looked after who they thought to be their treasure, and yet, all Eric wanted was a little freedom. Ever since he was a child, he longed for adventure. He would run away at least once a week in hopes of finding something that would drive him closer to his childhood goals of becoming a hero, proving himself responsible enough to make his own decisions, as well as get away from his parents’ nagging.

A bit of a temper goes a long way, especially when you’re stubborn on top of having said temper. Eric has always thrived to accomplish any goals that he set for himself, he figured that the goals set by his parents weren’t really goals at all, but more like guidelines that he shouldn’t bother wasting his time with. Although he was indifferent towards his parents, he truly cared about the safety of others that surrounded him. He always wanted to be the person that everyone depended on.

When it came to politics, Eric has always been truly clueless. Not all too interested in the inner workings of the country, Eric just seemed to daydream while his countless tutors attempted to have him live up to his father’s standards.

As a child, he was stubborn and especially picky about making friends. The playmates that his parents introduced him to seemed all too boring and far too spoiled for his liking. He wanted to befriend someone who was bold and quite the opposite of boring. Of course, noble children couldn’t possibly be anything like that, or so he thought.

As children tend to be wrong many times throughout their innocent lives, he was wrong as well. Venturing through Korin one day, rescuing stray cats, helping old ladies with heavy bags, and dodging house servants on the lookout for him, he stumbled upon the House Taerin and just happened to stroll though the open gates where an argument had lured his twitching ears. It seemed to be between two people, one of them seemed to be a young girl and the other sounded a bit older, perhaps her sister, who had an extremely stern voice. Their argument sounded much like the conversations that he shared with his parents on a daily basis. Soon enough, as children do, he became fast friends with a young girl named Lauren and they spent their time talking about the ridiculous authority figures that locked them inside their homes, away from the undoubtedly more exciting world beyond.


Personality:
Being the only child of a noble can have its effects on a person. He was very sheltered through most of his life and has never been able to make his own decisions. No matter what it is he wants to do, his parents are always there to pull him back. However, keeping him away from his desires only strengthens his determination to break the barrier between him and the freedom that he has longed for all his life.

He’s a spirited young man that has a knack for being a bit selfish and stubborn at times. He always wants to prove himself and hates being wrong but otherwise has a quite friendly and approachable demeanor. His thirst for adventure and new excitement away from his caged up life seems to drive his heart further away from his home with each passing day.


Appearance:
With an average build, Eric stands at 5’11” and carries his sword with him everywhere he goes. He has blonde hair and hazel eyes that seem to catch the attention of many ladies. He dresses and carries himself like a nobleman. His horse, Suichi, hates it when he tries to be flashy, but has been loyal to him through thick and thin.
